Welcome to UO Horizon! Our goal is to create a fair, respectful, and enjoyable community where players of all experience levels can adventure together.

Game Masters reserve the right to interpret and enforce these rules as situations require. Not every scenario can be anticipated, and actions meant to undermine fair play may still result in disciplinary action.

🤝 1. Respect & Community

Treat fellow players, staff, and community members with respect.

• No harassment, bullying, threats, or personal attacks.
• No hate speech or discrimination of any kind.
• No excessive toxicity or disruptive behavior.

💬 2. Chat Conduct

• No spamming public channels.
• No advertising other servers or communities without staff approval.
• No malicious links or inappropriate content.
• No intentional disruption of public chat.

⚒️ 3. Automation & AFK Gameplay

Horizon is designed to reward active participation.

• No unattended AFK mining, lumberjacking, fishing, or resource gathering.
• No macros or third-party tools while away from the keyboard.
• No circumventing AFK checks or ignoring Game Master interaction.
• No unattended gameplay that generates progression, wealth, or resources.

In-game macros are allowed while you are actively present and supervising your character.

🐞 4. Exploits & Bug Abuse

• No exploiting bugs or unintended mechanics.
• No item, currency, or reward duplication.
• No abusing pathing, AI, or system flaws for unfair advantage.
• Report bugs promptly instead of using them.

💰 5. Real Money Trading

Buying, selling, or trading Horizon accounts, characters, items, gold, or services for real-world currency or external compensation is prohibited unless expressly authorized by server administration.

🔐 6. Privacy & Security

• Do not share another player’s personal information.
• Do not attempt to access another player’s account.
• Do not impersonate staff or other players.
• Do not scam players for account credentials.

📛 7. Character Names

Character names should fit a fantasy roleplaying environment.

• No offensive, hateful, or sexually explicit names.
• No names impersonating staff.
• No intentionally disruptive names.

Staff may rename characters or require a name change at their discretion.

⚔️ 8. Fair Play

• No cheating or unauthorized third-party software.
• No exploiting systems for unintended advantages.
• No intentionally disrupting server stability.
• No mechanic abuse intended to grief players outside intended gameplay.

👑 9. Staff Authority

Staff decisions are made in the best interest of the server. If you disagree with a decision, appeal respectfully through the proper channels rather than arguing publicly.

⚖️ Enforcement

Violations are handled case by case and may result in:

• Warnings
• Temporary restrictions
• Temporary suspensions
• Permanent account termination
