Server Rules

Welcome to UO Horizon.

Our goal is to create a fair, respectful, and enjoyable community where players of every experience level can adventure together.

Game Masters reserve the right to interpret and enforce these rules as situations require. Not every situation can be anticipated, and actions intended to undermine fair play may still result in disciplinary action.

Treat players, staff, and community members with respect.

• No harassment, bullying, or personal attacks.
• No hate speech or discrimination.
• No excessive toxicity or disruptive behavior.

Help keep public chat enjoyable for everyone.

• No spam or excessive flooding.
• No advertising other servers or communities without staff approval.
• No malicious links or inappropriate content.
• No intentionally disrupting public chat.

The following are not permitted:

• Unattended mining
• Unattended lumberjacking
• Unattended fishing
• Unattended resource gathering
• Macros or automation while away from your keyboard
• Ignoring Game Master interaction
• Circumventing AFK checks
• Any unattended gameplay that generates progression, resources, or wealth

In-game macros are allowed while you are actively present and supervising your character.

Help us improve Horizon instead of abusing bugs.

• No exploiting unintended mechanics.
• No item, gold, or reward duplication.
• No abusing AI, pathing, or system flaws.
• Report bugs promptly to staff.

Buying, selling, or trading Horizon accounts, characters, items, gold, or services for real-world currency or outside compensation is prohibited unless expressly authorized by server administration.

Protect your account and respect the privacy of others.

• Do not share another player's personal information.
• Do not attempt to access another player's account.
• Do not impersonate staff members or other players.
• Do not scam players for account credentials.

Character names should fit the fantasy world of Horizon.

• No offensive or hateful names.
• No sexually explicit names.
• No staff impersonation.
• No intentionally disruptive names.

Everyone should compete on equal footing.

• No cheating.
• No unauthorized third-party software.
• No exploiting systems for unintended advantages.
• No intentionally disrupting server stability.
• No mechanic abuse intended to grief other players.

Game Masters make decisions in the best interest of the server and its community.

If you disagree with a decision, please appeal respectfully through the proper channels rather than arguing publicly.
