Getting Started

Welcome to UO Horizon!

The easiest way to begin your adventure is by using the Horizon IPL:

Installer • Patcher • Launcher

The Horizon IPL automatically installs, updates, and launches everything you need to play.

Step 1 — Download the Horizon IPL

Recommended for all players.

The Horizon IPL downloads the required game files, keeps your installation up-to-date, and launches the game with the correct settings automatically.

  • Horizon Installer / Patcher / Launcher (IPL): Download Horizon IPL

Step 2 — Install Horizon

Follow these steps:

  1. Run the Horizon IPL
  2. Select an installation folder
    • Recommended: C:\Games\UO Horizon
  3. Allow the IPL to download and install all required files
  4. When complete, click Play
  5. Create your Horizon account and begin your adventure
